Welcome to Sex Workers for Choice!  We are a Toledo based activist group supporting sex positive culture and personal freedoms.  We advocate for civil rights issues including: pro-choice reproductive health, LGBTQ rights, adult alternative sexual lifestyles, and sex worker rights.

What is a "sex worker"?  A sex worker is any person that works professionally helping to fulfill the sexual fantasies of others.  This includes (but is not limited to): exotic dancers/strippers, fetish/nude models, phone sex workers, erotic authors, professional Dominatrixes, peep show models, courtesans, street prostitutes, porn actors/actresses, brothel workers and escorts.  Being a sex worker does not mean a person is directly engaging in sexual contact or activity. 

Some sex workers choose the occupation of their own free will, some are in it due to circumstance, others are being coerced  (trafficked).  SW4C fights for the rights of ALL sex workers, including those that are being trafficked.  We support all efforts to end human trafficking locally, nationally and globally.
